Daily guest care at Omega House is provided by a team of caregivers specially trained in tending to the needs of the dying. Many of these compassionate individuals are Certified Nursing Assistants and Hospice nurses. Their extensive experience with the dying process enables our caregivers to provide calm and comforting companionship to dying people and their families.

General Summary of Duties: The resident care coordinator under the supervision of the Executive Director, is responsible for direct patient care of the residents, hiring, training, developing, evaluating and supervising aide work on all shifts, scheduling, and personnel problem solving.

Part-time and Full-time CNA  and LPN Positions Available

Job Summary

The primary duty of the Certified Nurse Aide is to provide residents with routine, daily nursing care.

Duties of the position include but are not limited to:

Providing individualized attention, which encourages the resident’s ability to maintain or attain the highest practical, physical, mental and psychosocial well-being.

Attending to specific resident needs, such as: preparing meals, grooming, bathing, transferring, and ambulation, range of motion, communicating, and observing /reporting changes in resident’s condition or behavior.

Applicant must be able to work independently.  Wages and benefits are commensurate with position and experience.


State of Michigan Certified Nursing Assistant license or LPN license required.

High school or equivalent education
