Omega House
accommodates residents and families in a
comfortable, serene environment that feels like
a spacious home. From the generous entry hall,
visitors can access the dining/kitchen area, the
living room, the business office/nursing
station, or each of the two bedroom wings. In
addition, the house features quiet alcoves and a
meditation room for reflection or counseling.
For the resident, each of the bedrooms features:
- A private bathroom
- A recliner
- Cable television
- Individual controls for heating and
cooling
- Plenty of seating for visitors
- A large, low window with a view of the
surrounding gardens and trees
Outside, the landscaping and grounds
complement the natural wooded setting. A blend
of hardwoods, including maples and oaks, provide
a lovely backdrop and habitat for wildlife.
There is an outdoor patio off the living room
which is wheelchair accessible for patients and
visitors. A large patio umbrella is available
for those preferring a shaded area.
The Omega House structure complies with State of
Michigan requirements for a nursing home,
including wide smoke-rated corridors, multiple
exits, full sprinkler system, and fire alarm. |
