The Omega House
facilities accommodate residents and families in
a comfortable, homelike environment. From the
time you approach the front door throughout the
interior spaces, the architecture feels like a
spacious home. From the generous entry hall,
visitors can access the dining/kitchen area, the
four-season sun room with panoramic views, the
discrete business office, or each of the two
bedroom wings. In addition, the house features
quiet alcoves and a meditation room for
reflection or counseling.
For the resident, each of the bedrooms feature:
- Large
south-facing windows, with a low sill-height
to allow an easy view from a sitting or
lying position
- Private
toilet and washing
- Individual
environmental controls for heating and
cooling
Outside, the
landscaping and grounds complement the natural
wooded setting. A blend of hardwoods, including
maples and oaks, provide a colorful backdrop and
habitat for wildlife. There is an outdoor patio
off the sun room, which is wheelchair accessible
for patients and family.
The Omega House structure complies with State of
Michigan requirements for a nursing home,
including wide smoke-rated corridors, multiple
exits, full sprinkler system, and fire alarm. |
