2009 Volunteer of the Year recipient announced |

Omega House honored its volunteers recently at a luncheon held on April 17th at the Hancock Methodist Church. In addition to the luncheon, a small program was held announcing the Omega House Volunteer of the Year recipient. John Van Westenburg of Chassell was presented the award by Mike Abbott, Omega House Board Vice President. John has volunteered since 2009 and serves as the maintenance man. Mary Herlevich, House Manager, said “We are extremely grateful to John for all he does to help out. Of all the projects I’ve given him, he has yet to say he can’t fix something.” The luncheon was attended by volunteers, staff and Board members. |
