About Omega House

Omega House offers a peaceful home with 24-hour care for people who are terminally ill. In cooperation with local hospice programs, Omega House provides residents with high-quality care and all the comforts of home.

Each of the six bedrooms has a private bathroom and a beautiful view of the trees and gardens. The kitchen, living, dining, and meditation rooms provide special places for family and friends to gather during their visits.

Residents and their families receive individualized care that addresses their physical, emotional, spiritual, psychological, and social needs. Hospice caregivers help control pain and symptoms, so residents can live each day more comfortably and with dignity.

People with any type of terminal illness can choose to receive hospice care. Omega House is open to people enrolled in a licensed hospice program or who qualify for hospice care.

Services that are provided include:
  • 24-hour care from trained assistants and volunteers
  • Home-cooked meals
  • Personal care
  • Laundry service
  • Housekeeping
  • Respite care
  • Emotional & spiritual support
  • Bereavement support

Residents are charged a daily rate based on their ability to pay. Generous community support enables Omega House to care for people with limited insurance and finances.

Hospice services and hospice-related medication and equipment are usually paid by Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurances.
